Native Spirit Rising - Blue Ribbon Edition
Native Spirit Rising - Blue Ribbon Edition
Bald eagles are highly revered and considered sacred within American Indian traditions, culture and religion. They fly higher and see better than any other bird; and as they roam the skies are considered to be spiritual beings with a special connection to the Gods. For this reason, Native Americans have chosen the bald eagle and its feathers as a symbol of bravery, strength, power and freedom. They also signify a person who rises above the petty details of daily life to take in the big picture.
In the Horse Show world a blue ribbon usually means first place. It is traditionally awarded in recognition of excellence. All serious riders want to add blue ribbons to their collection. In the Painted Pony world a Blue Ribbon Figurine refers to the very first twelve castings of a particular design. First Editions, Numbers 0001 through 0012. Blue Ribbon Figurines are available exclusively on the Official Trail of Painted Ponies Store.
